Villa Baulieu : Cuvée Bérengère 2013

Growing on the domaine's volcanic vein covered by a clay-limestone soil, the Rolle and Semillon from Provence area give this wine from Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence a beautiful expression. Villa Baulieu cuvee Berangere 2013 is a dry white wine juicy, white-fleshed fruit combine with spices: curry, cumin and fennel. A trace of light caramel indicates the fermentation in oak.The wine shows a big, sunny, delicious character on entry to the palate, followed by the smoothness created by its beautiful phenolic texture. The finish vacillates between toasted, spicy and salty bitter notes.
