Xavier Vignon : Cuvée Anonyme 2019

Notes of cassis and plum liqueur with hints of dark spices, chocolate, and overturned earth. Full and concentrated with a broad-shouldered, grainy tannin structure. Layered and textured with a dark fruit backbone and notes of walnut and crushed rocks on the finish. Try after 2024.

Deep, dark, young and intense, the wine offers a boatload of ripe, deep red fruits along with a youthful, oaky profile. Full, deep, ripe, dark and rich, this hedonistic wine is going to take a few years to fully integrate and to begin producing secondary notes. Clearly the wine is young and impressive, but patience will be required. Drink from 2025 - 2035.

Refined and full-bodied, lovely spices with saffron and black olive, a supple and silky body, fine tannins, magnificent persistence, an elegant great wine.
