Bouchard Père & Fils was founded in Beaune in 1731. With almost three centuries of history, it is one of the oldest wine houses in Burgundy. At the head of an exceptional estate in the Côte d’Or, the 9th generation of the family continues to perpetuate this unique know-how in the art of making great Burgundy wines.
The vineyard at the Bouchard Père & Fils estate was patiently established over the years and covers 130 hectares of vines today. By uniting prestigious appellations with exceptional plots, the Bouchard Père & Fils vineyard constitutes a unique winegrowing heritage in Burgundy.
"Saint-Pierre" 2019 by Bouchard Père & Fils is a Mâcon-Lugry wine and is exclusively produced from the Lugny terroir, with soils made up of limestone and marls.
Vinification and ageing
Ageing lasts for 7 to 8 months in stainless steel tanks, depending on the characteristics of the vintage.
The Mâcon-Lugny "Saint-Pierre" 2019 by Bouchard Père & Fils seduces with its fresh and floral bouquet, as well as its fragranced and beautifully round palate.
It is advised to taste this wine before 2022 to be able to enjoy all of its freshness.
Food and wine pairings
This wine goes perfectly with fried fish, seafood, freshwater fish or even crayfish.
For an optimal tasting, serve at between 10°C and 12°C.
