Description
A generous white wine from Lombardy with a beautiful aromatic structure
The estate
When Annamaria Clementi purchased a small house on a hill in Ebursco in 1964 and had vines planted there, her son Maurizio’s life changed forever. At just fifteen years old, the young man discovered the remarkable terroir of Franciacorta. Fascinated by the Champagne method, he embarked on a quest for excellence that has continued to drive Ca’ del Bosco ever since. Maurizio Zanella became a leading figure in the revival of Italian wines and has crafted red, white, and sparkling wines certified organic, among the most renowned in Italy. There is no doubt that, with this talented winemaker at the helm, this pioneering estate still has many chapters yet to be written.
The vineyard
Corte del Lupo Bianco is produced from several terroirs within the Curtefranca appellation. The Chardonnay comes from 10 plots, averaging 36 years old, in the communes of Erbusco and Cazzago San Martino, while the Pinot Blanc is sourced from 2 plots averaging 31 years old, located in the commune of Passirano.
Blend
This Corte del Lupo Bianco 2024 from Ca' del Bosco is the result of a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc.
