Located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, on the left bank of Bordeaux, Château Cos Labory owes its name to the word "caux," meaning “the stony hill,” in reference to its location on the aptly named gravel hill "Cos".
This 18-hectare vineyard is planted in Quaternary gravel soils with remarkable drainage, allowing the vines access to water in the event of water stress.
Harvest from September 25 to October 10. Merlot from September 25 to 30. Petit Verdot on October 2. Cabernet Sauvignon from October 3 to 10.
Ageing in barrels. 50% new oak.
