Full bottle 1,251 g. Certified organic, certified sustainable (B-Corp). 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Glossy dark fruit encircled by spicy, urbane tannins. There's a richness here but it's not opulent. It's disciplined and fresh. Blueberry and coffee cream, flecks of vanilla pod and sweet cigar, long ink-powder lines drawing contours into the fruit. A modern classic. You could drink this relatively early to relish in the sappy deliciousness of fresh fruit, but it will give pleasure for years to come. (TC)

The precision and balance of a Lalande de Pomerol wine

The estate

Symbol of tradition, the Château des Annereaux has been a family property since the 14th century. On the right bank of Bordeaux, in the famous Lalande de Pomerol appellation, Château des Annereaux has recently distinguished itself by appearing on the tables of the Élysée Palace.

The vineyard

Located on the middle terrace of the Isle, the 25-hectare vineyard of Château des Annereaux rests on the famous gravel-sandy terroir of Lalande de Pomerol. This vineyard is managed according to the principles of certified Organic Agriculture.

Vinification and ageing

Manual harvest from September 12 to October 2. Gentle vinification accompanied by few pump-overs. Ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new.

Blend

The Château des Annereaux 2023 is a blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%).
