The freshness of a Saint-Émilion in the style of a Château Grand Corbin
Château Grand Corbin is the result of a merger between Château Grand Corbin and Château Haut Corbin estates in 2012. The magnificent Château Grand Corbin vineyard is classified as Saint-Émilion Grand Cru and it enjoys a prime location on the prestigious Saint-Émilion terroir near Bordeaux. The 36-hectare vineyard grows in clay-limestone soil, and this makes it possible to give the vines all the water resources they need to flourish.
The 2016 vintage was marked by exceptional conditions in the vineyards to offer a bright future for Château Grand Corbin. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc vines, which make up the Grand Corbin Chateau 2016 blend, were able to enjoy a hot, dry summer softened with cool nights. These conditions were perfect to help the grapes reach their perfect ripeness.
In its youth, this wine expresses all the elegance of a great seducer with its fresh, crisp red fruit and blackcurrant notes. On the palate, there is a beautiful volume with red fruit notes. The long and persistent finish ends with freshness and saline notes. The firm, powerful tannins promise an excellent potential for cellaring.
