The estate
A Grand Cru of Saint-Émilion, Château Grand Corbin was founded in the 19th century. This grand Right Bank estate of Bordeaux is reconnecting with its prestigious past. Led by Philippe Dambrine, Château Grand Corbin ranks among the top crus of the appellation.
The vineyard
The vineyard of Château Grand Corbin covers 28.5 hectares of 40-year-old vines. These vines are planted on a silica terroir over a bed of blue clay typical of Saint-Émilion.
Winemaking and aging
Winemaking takes place in wooden or concrete vats. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. 40% new barrels.
Blend
This 2018 Château Grand Corbin is the result of a blend of Merlot (75%), Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%).
