This 2014 Chateau La Fleur Peyrabon comes from the 7 original hectares in Pauillac, to which 2 hectares were added later. These hectares are located between Chateau Lafite Rothschild and Mouton-Rothschild since the vintage of 2006. In 2014, the Cabernet Sauvignon, that naturally marks the vintages, dominates the blend, completed by Merlot and Petit Verdot. The property succeeded its late varietals and mother nature, through a solid Indian summer, was kind with the vintners. The nose is dense, expressive and opulent on fleshy dark berries (Burlat cherry, cassis) and offers a pleasant freshness. The attack has character (frank acidity) and the mid-palate is well structured (with elegance) on fleshy (almost creamy) and even silky tannins: the texture is noble. The Pauillac gains in precision and has a good ageing potential.
