The 2015 Leoville-Poyferre is richly coloured, deep and sombre. The nose of this Saint-Julien offers luscious fruit, though precise and refined at once. in the mouth, the wine is intense, with juicy ripe fruit flavours that confirm what was revealed on the nose. The tannin structure is creamy, suave, and drawn-out. The wine offers immense elegance and character. Certainly, 2015 will be known as one of the most successful years of the Chateau.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2015 Leoville Poyferre is deep garnet-purple colored with a nose of grilled meats, baked plums, crème de cassis and baker's chocolate with nuances of dusty soil and iron ore plus a hint of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, very firm and muscular in the mouth, it is built like a brick house with a mineral-tinged finish.
