Cotes du Rhone Villages Saint-Maurice

Cotes du Rhone Villages Saint-Maurice image

Created in 1967, the Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Maurice appellation covers almost 160 hectares in the Saint-Maurice-sur-Eygues commune. The vines enjoy a Mediterranean climate and are planted in clay-limestone soils mixed with gravel and sandstone. The Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Maurice appellation is home to the production of red wines (Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre), whites (Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Clairette, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier) and rosés (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre). The Côtes du Rhône Villages Saint-Maurice reds are deep and elegant while the whites are quite fresh and persistent.
