Description
A Chassagne-Montrachet white combining precision and balance
The estate
The Domaine Bader-Mimeur is the result of the union of two Burgundian families. Charles Bader, from a line of wine merchants, married Elise Mimeur, daughter of Charles Mimeur, then owner of the prestigious Château de Chassagne-Montrachet. Today, the estate extends in the heart of the Côte de Beaune and perpetuates a know-how passed down from generation to generation.
The vineyard
The estate’s vineyard covers 8 hectares within the appellation Chassagne-Montrachet, including 5 hectares located on the very lands of the Château de Chassagne-Montrachet. It is planted with the emblematic Bourgogne grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The climate, soil diversity and the care given to the vines allow the purest expression of the terroir.
Winemaking and ageing
After careful harvesting, the wines are aged in the estate’s traditional vaulted cellars, providing an ideal environment to refine their aromatic expression and texture.
Grape variety
100% Chardonnay.
