Domaine Dyckerhoff : Reuilly 2020

A dry white wine from the Loire with a beautiful freshness and a very flavoursome fruity character

The producer

Located on the banks of the Arnon river, a tributary of the Cher river, the Domaine Dyckerhoff produces wines from the Reuilly appellation. Respecting nature, men and women, the estate has recently joined the Terra Vitis label.

The vineyard

With a surface area of 6 hectares, the vineyards of this Loire estate rest on gently sloping calcareous marl hills as well as on high sand and gravel terraces.

The vinification and ageing

The wine is aged in a modern cellar in order to enhance the expression of the grapes and the terroir. Following traditional vinification methods, the wine is aged on fine lees with regular pumping over in order to provide the wines with volume and richness.

The blend

Reuilly blanc 2020 by Domaine Dyckerhoff is a 100% Sauvignon.

Nose

Fine and delicate, this wine offers an aromatic expression conjured up by slightly lemony floral aromas.

Palate

Balanced and harmonious, Reuilly blanc 2020 seduces the palate with its freshness, revealing citrus fruits on the finish and a very good length which showcases the time spent on fine lees.

Food and wine pairing

Reuilly blanc 2020 by Domaine Dyckerhoff will perfectly complement chicken with maroilles cheese, salmon lasagne, asparagus quiche, goat's milk cheese or soft cheeses such as Saint Nectaire or reblochon.
