Domaine Vacheron traces its origins back to 1900, when Maurice Vacheron bought a hectare of vines and founded the eponymous estate. His sons joined the estate in 1966 and gradually developed it.

Now covering 47 hectares, this family estate in the Loire region is the first in Sancerre to be certified Organic and Biodynamic since 2004.

Domaine Vacheron owes its uniqueness to its geographical location. The estate is located on the geological fault of Sancerre, dividing it into two terroirs, one composed of limestone and the other of flint.

Over the years, Domaine Vacheron has developed a range of wines that authentically express the potential and specific characteristics of the Sancerre terroir, through meticulous plot-based vinification.

Domaine Vacheron wines are renowned for their extreme finesse and the delicious expression of their original grape varieties - Pinot Noir for the reds and Sauvignon Blanc for the whites.
