The property
Founded in 1825, the Domaine Faiveley is a pillar of Burgundian viticulture, located in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Covering 134 hectares, it covers prestigious terroirs of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte Chalonnaise. Today led by Erwan and Eve Faiveley, with Jérôme Flous as oenologist, the estate combines traditional methods and modern innovations. Their commitment to Burgundy is manifested by a deep respect for the terroir and a historical involvement in the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, reinforcing their reputation for excellence and tradition.
The vineyard
The "Les Pruliers" climate is one of the most renowned premier crus of Nuits-Saint-Georges. This exceptional terroir extends over 7.11 hectares and benefits from an ideal east exposure. The vines flourish on shallow and hard limestone soils, giving the wines their distinctive character, structure and remarkable aging potential.
Vinification and aging
The wine is aged for 14 to 16 months in oak barrels, about two thirds of which are new barrels. The barrels are selected for their fine grain and moderate toasting, allowing to bring complexity and finesse without masking the expression of the terroir.
Blend
100% pinot noir
