The estate
In the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, Domaine La Rouillère, created in 1900, was given a new lease of life in 1998 when Bernard and Magali Letartre purchased the estate. Combining tradition and innovation, these two enthusiasts express the alluring features of the various soils through their rosé wines, recognised for their quality and aromatic expression.
The vineyard
Implementing sustainable viticultural practices, Domaine La Rouillère’s 45-hectare vineyard produces fine Côtes de Provence wines and is planted on a generous and sun-drenched location, tempered by the sea breeze.
Vinification and ageing
Following the harvest, the grapes are cooled by a tube-shaped exchanger as soon as they arrive in the cellar. The grapes are then pneumatically pressed, followed by a first selection of the juice. Temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is racked to be aged on fine lees until bottling.
