Description
A Rosé from the Côtes de Provence Combining Freshness and Indulgence
The Estate
The Domaine La Rouillère, founded in 1900 and taken over in 1998 by Bernard and Magali Letartre, is nestled in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula. The owners have successfully combined respect for viticultural traditions and technical innovation to produce rosés prized for their finesse and aromatic richness.
The Vineyard
The estate extends over a total of 45 hectares of vines bathed in Mediterranean sunlight, benefiting from a climate tempered by sea breezes, conducive to the production of balanced and expressive vins de Provence.
The Wine
This cuvée is a vin des Côtes de Provence from leased plots spread over 9 hectares around the Canoubiers Bay in Saint-Tropez.
Vinification and aging
Upon arrival at the cellar, the harvest is immediately cooled using a tubular exchanger. It is then subjected to a delicate pneumatic pressing, allowing the selection of the finest juices. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, maintained between 16 and 17°C, in order to preserve aromatic purity. Aging continues on fine lees until bottling, bringing roundness and complexity to the wine.
Blend
La Rouillère 2024 from Domaine La Rouillère is the result of a blend of Syrah, Tibouren and Carignan.
