Description
The brilliance and aromatic finesse of a Provence rosé wine by Domaine La Rouillère
The estate
In the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, Domaine La Rouillère, founded in 1900, rose from the ashes in 1998 following the estate's purchasing by Bernard and Magali Letartre. These two enthusiasts express all the charm of the terroir through rosé wines that combine tradition and innovation.
The vineyard
Producing fine Côtes de Provence wines, Domaine La Rouillère's 45-hectare vineyard is planted on a land that enjoys plentiful amounts of sunshine and a pleasant sea breeze.
Vinification and ageing
Following the harvest, the grapes are cooled by a tubular heat exchanger as soon as they arrive in the cellar. The grapes are then pneumatically pressed, followed by a first selection of the juice. The temperature is controlled during fermentation and the wine is racked in order to age on fine lees until bottling.
The blend
Grenache
