An Exceptional Sancerre, Between Finesse and Aromatic Expression
The estate
In the heart of the Sancerre appellation, in the village of Bué, the Domaine Vincent Pinard perpetuates a centuries-old viticultural tradition. Driven by a deep respect for the terroir and its ecosystem, the estate cultivates its 17 hectares of vineyards according to sustainable practices. No chemical herbicides or synthetic products are used: the vine is guided with discernment, in a minimal intervention approach. This philosophy allows to accurately reveal the richness of the soils and the unique identity of each plot. The wines signed Vincent Pinard thus stand out for their authenticity and purity.
The vineyard
The Nuance cuvée comes from vines of about 40 years old located on the place called "Caillottes" in Bué. This emblematic terroir rests on typical limestone stones of the Sancerrois, giving the wine a mineral tension and a singular elegance. The vineyard is managed organically, without the use of insecticides or acaricides, in a logic of absolute respect for life.
Vinification and aging
The harvest is done by hand, with a first sorting carried out in the vineyard, followed by a second sorting on a vibrating table. A gentle pneumatic pressing precedes a slow fermentation of four weeks. The aging, carried out on lees in vats and in barrels of one wine, enriches the structure and aromatic complexity without masking the natural freshness of the Sauvignon.
