A rose produced in the Bandol appellation, Chateau Romassan Rose Coeur de Grain from Domaines Ott is produced on a 74 hectare vineyard. The vines are, on average, 25 years old and planted on limestone, sandstone, marl and gravel. Chateau Romassan Rose Coeur de Grain 2016 is a blend of 60% Mourvedre, 26% Cinsault, 11% Grenache and 3% Syrah.
Chateau Romassan Rose Coeur de Grain 2016 has a beautiful pale rose robe. Uniting finesse and delicacy, the nose is fresh and vinous. It emits fragrances of grapefruits, peaches, dried fruits, almonds and white flowers. The wine is dense, and silky with a wonderful tension. The tension provides freshness and finesse.
