A Côtes de Provence Rosé with Yellow Fruit Aromas and an Indulgent Finish
The Estate
Founded in 1912 by Marcel Ott, an Alsatian agronomist established in Provence since 1896, Domaines Ott* spans three exceptional estates. A property of Champagne Louis Roederer since 2018, the house remains under the direction of the Ott family. All three estates practice certified organic viticulture and uphold the art of Provençal rosé in their iconic bottle created in 1932.
The Vineyard
Acquired in 1956, Clos Mireille benefits from an exceptional terroir in the La Londe area, where the vines slope down towards the Mediterranean. This estate, classified as a nature reserve, comprises a vineyard on shallow, well-drained schist and quartz soils that take full advantage of the Mediterranean sun and almost constant winds, creating ideal conditions for the expression of the grape varieties of the Côtes de Provence appellation.
The Vintage
The 2024 vintage benefited from a mild, rainy spring without excess, followed by a hot, dry summer with cool nights. This gradual and even ripening yielded healthy, balanced grapes, resulting in a wine of remarkable aromatic finesse with crisp acidity, showcasing elegance and aging potential.
Grape Varieties
66% Grenache, 30% Cinsault and 4% Rolle.
