Description

The estate
Domaine Les Poëte was founded in 2001 by Guillaume Sorbe, a passionate winegrower, following a year of searching for the most favourable terroir among the many Loire appellations. The estate reigns over a vineyard where the Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Gamay varietals harmoniously grow side by side on soils made up of clay, limestone, fine sand and flinty clay (also known as "perruche").
The vineyard
Perfectly integrated into a rich and diversified ecosystem, and managed with a deep respect for the earth, the environment and living things, the estate's vines produce precise and refined Loire wines.
The wine
This white wine from the Loire is a Pouilly-Fumé wine, an illustrious appellation renowned for the finesse of its wines.
Vinification and ageing
Pressing, inerting and transfer of the must under nitrogen. Cold settling. Alcoholic fermentation in vats using selected neutral yeasts. Aged for 15 months.
