The Liveliness and Finesse of a Côtes de Provence Rosé
The Estate
Founded in 1929 by André Chevillon, Maison Sainte Marguerite is located in La Londe-les-Maures, in Provence, on vineyard lands steeped in history. Classified as a cru classé since 1955, it embodies the appellation’s excellence through the quality and authenticity of its cuvées. In 1977, the Fayard family became its owner, breathing new life into the estate. Since 2022, the strategic partnership with the Pernod Ricard group has further strengthened its international reach.
The Vineyard
The Côtes de Provence estate spans 168 hectares overlooking the Mediterranean. The plots dedicated to the Symphonie cuvée benefit from a terroir combining schist, clay, flint shards and limestone. The maritime climate brings freshness and balance to vines farmed organically.
Winemaking and Aging
After cold skin maceration, the grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation takes place under temperature control to preserve aromatic purity. Aging continues on fine lees, before fining, filtration and bottling.
Blend
Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle.
