Cossy Champagne : Key Points

Francis Cossy, the second eldest son, was passionate about his terroir. He put his career as a butcher to one side and moved to the family estate. Following his passing, the 26-year-old Sophie Cossy and her mother took over the F. Cossy Champagne House. Sophie Cossy has been at the head of the eponymous house since December 2017.

The Cossy estate overlooks a vineyard of around 7 hectares, spread over 34 different plots to the south of Reims. This terroir is mainly composed of Pinot Meunier and also comprises Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

In keeping with her father’s environmental commitments, Sophie Cossy pays rigorous attention to managing her vineyard in a sustainable manner (working the soil, grassing, planting hedges) and is eager to offer an innovative tasting experience through delicate and aromatic cuvées.
