Located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, Produttori del Barbaresco was founded in 1958 by the priest of the village of Barbaresco. In fact, in order to save the small local vineyards and safeguard their know-how, he decided to bring together nineteen producers to create one estate. The wines of Produttori del Barbaresco are known for their elegance, their full-bodied character and their wide aromatic range.
Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 is a Langhe wine that stems from various vineyards selected from the 118 hectare estate. The vines are cultivated on clay-limestone soil in the heart of the Prealp hills at between 200 and 400 metres of altitude.
Winemaking and ageing
Fermentation at 28°C. Maceration over 20 days. Malolactic fermentation. The ageing of this Piedmont wine took four months in big oak barrels.
This full-bodied vintage unveils intense red fruit, white pepper and aniseed notes over the course of the tasting, carried by a lovely acidity.
Langhe Nebbiolo 2021 from Produttori del Barbaresco can be laid down for between five and eight years to reveal all its aromatic palette.
