Ugo Lequio : Gallina 2015

Ugo Lequio's 2015 Barbaresco Gallina opens to a very ripe aromatic profile, with plum, prune and black currant at the front. This is a fruit-forward expression that accurately reflects the characteristics of the hot vintage. I would suggest a short or medium-term drinking window for this fruity and softly textured Barbaresco. Some 10,000 bottles were made. This wine sees two years of aging in large oak casks.
