On the nose, it is both elegant and fine, and expresses red berry and scrumptious liquorice aromas. On the palate, the attack is frank with much precision, and gives way to firm yet much ripped tannins on the mid-palate; a very recognizable, powerful style. Acidity brings length to this Tuscan wine. The finish is lingering, fruity and refreshing. It is a vibrant wine.
