Poggio di Sotto is located south-east of Montalcino hill and was created in 1989. The property has always been regarded as the best Sangiovese wine producer and a great classic in the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. The vineyard benefits from a unique micro-climate with the sea breeze from Orcia River on one side, and the shelter of Mount Amiata on the other- vine strive despite considerable temperature variations (even in the summer). Poggio di Sotto uses organic agriculture to maintain the 10-hectare vineyard located in the Brunello di Montalcino appellation. The vines find balance on gradual slopes reaching 200 to 400 meters above sea level.
