Tenuta Sette Ponti Wines : Key Points

Poised in the land of Sangiovese in Chianti, Tenuta Sette Ponti lies near the historic town of Arezzo. The name of the estate pays tribute to the seven bridges that connect the banks of the Arno River between Florence and Arezzo.

In 1716, the Grand Duke of Tuscany described this place as an "elected wine area", i.e. land recognized for producing high quality wines. The quality of the soil and the timeless beauty of this landscape have found worthy celebration in the paintings of many artists, notably, the great Leonardo da Vinci used this landscape as a model for his famous "Mona Lisa" masterpiece.

Tenuta Sette Ponti became one of the properties of the Moretti Cuseri family in the 1950s, when Antonio Moretti Cuseri's father acquired the first 50 hectares of the estate from Princesses Margherita and Maria Cristina of Savoy-Aosta.

Since then, Antonio Moretti and his family have been producing precise, structured Crognolo and Oreno wines. Each wine comprises the family's passion and hard work and results in refined and elegant wines that are recognised as being among the finest Italian wines.

Tenuta Sette Ponti reigns over more than 300 hectares of land, 54 of which are vines. This exceptional vineyard is planted on a mosaic of soils whose different characteristics and altitudes make this emblematic Tuscan estate unique.
