A rich, broad-shouldered red, with savory elements of eucalyptus, sage and hay complementing cherry and berry flavors. Supported by a spine of dense tannins and vibrant acidity, this ends with a mix of savory and fruity notes. Best from 2025 through 2043. 242 cases made, 20 cases imported.

Plum, dried-flower and black-truffle aromas are compelling. Full-bodied with creamy, firm tannins and a bright, focused palate. A little lean, but all together. Drink or hold.

The 2018 Bruno Rocca Barbaresco Currà has some very ripe, sweet, strawberry fruit notes on the nose, with spiky pepper, crunchy green fruit and green herb aromas and flavors. It is round and soft with a good concentration of ripe red fruits with contrasting slightly green flavors, all wrapped around by a refined tannic structure. It is like a postcard of 2018 - a great expression of the vintage!
