Description
A seductive Pomerol red wine with aromatic richness and vibrancy
The estate
Located in the heart of Pomerol, Château L’Église-Clinet traces its origins back to 1882, when Monsieur Mauléon-Rouchut, ancestor of Denis Durantou, created a new vineyard by combining certain plots from Clos L’Église and Château Clinet. This Right Bank Bordeaux estate, originally named Clos L’Église-Clinet, was renamed “Château L’Église-Clinet” in 1955.
Winemaking and aging
The harvest took place from September 3 to 9. The Merlot was picked starting September 3, and the Cabernet Franc from September 5. This Pomerol wine is aged in oak barrels (85% new).
Blend
