Description
An intense Chassagne-Montrachet white wine
The Chassagne-Montrachet Village "Château de Chassagne-Montrachet" of Domaine Bader-Mimeur is a Chardonnay white wine produced in the Chassagne-Montrachet. Aged 35 years on average, the vines benefit from a clay-limestone soil. The wine is aged in French oak barrels (20% in new barrels) for 12 months, with regular stirring.
The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet Village "Château de Chassagne-Montrachet" from Domaine Bader-Mimeur is a superb wine already offering all of its potential at tasting. Expressive, the nose reveals fragrances of ripe pears and yellow fruits (nectarines, dried apricots), along with notes of petrol and roast. The wine has sublime volume on the palate and is extremely intense. To be kept until 2020-2025.
