Description
A Chassagne-Montrachet red wine with a closed texture
A single-varietal Pinot Noir red wine produced in the Chassagne-Montrachet Village appellation, the Chassagne-Montrachet Village château de Chassagne-Montrachet of domaine Bader-Mimeur benefits from vineyards aged 40 and 70 years on average, planted on a terroir composed of a clay-limestone soil. The wine is aged for 16 to 18 months in oak barrels, with a proportion of 20% new barrels.
The Chassagne-Montrachet Village château de Chassagne-Montrachet 2014 of domaine Bader-Mimeur displays a garnet-ruby colour. The nose first reveals pleasant fragrances of cherries and raspberries, along with subtle woody notes. The wine is very present on the palate, revealing a tight and enveloping texture. To be consumed before 2025.
