Very light gold-hued, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc offers ample citrus, crisp apple, and minty herb notes in its medium-bodied, clean, vibrant profile. I love its purity, and it’s an outstanding white to enjoy over the coming 4–6 years or so.

With a smoky, slightly oaky and perhaps reduced bouquet, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc from Domaine des Senechaux offers up aromas of almonds, spring blossom, spices and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, rich and dense, it's enveloping but lacks vivacity and energy on the mid-palate.
