Domaine Marcel Deiss : Grasberg 2022

The 2022 Grasberg is from elevated, rocky, iron-rich Jurassic limestone above the Altenberg. The nose is subtle, full of fruit, very ripe and luminous, displaying stone fruit, dried lemon and fresh apple aromas. The palate has tender sweetness, speaking of its vivid, flowing, bright Riesling nature. The residual 30 g/L of sugar just colors the fruit, making this vibrate in all its freshness, ripeness and aromatic generosity. The palate is streamlined, with a wonderful, airy imagination paired with a solid, straight structure. What a joy.
