The property
The Domaine Mont Bessay is an emblematic figure of the Moulin-à-Vent region, renowned for its commitment to quality and the authentic expression of its terroir. Founded at the beginning of the 20th century, the estate has been passed down through generations, each bringing their expertise and passion for wine. The foundation of Domaine Mont Bessay is the result of a 5-year collaboration between Philippe Pascal and Guillaume Marko, who also manage the biodynamic estate of Cellier aux Moines in Givry.
The vineyard
The "Le Vieux Bourg" vines stretch out on well-exposed slopes, benefiting from optimal sunlight that ensures perfect maturity of the grapes. The granitic soil of this Beaujolais region contributes to the distinctive minerality of this wine.
