A Bandol Rosé with Intense Aromas and a Persistent Finish

The Estate

Founded in 1896 by Marcel Ott, an Alsatian agronomist, Domaines Ott* spans three Provençal estates: Château de Selle (1912), Clos Mireille (1936), and Château Romassan (1956). Owned by Maison Louis Roederer since 2004, they remain managed by Jean-François and Christian Ott. Pioneers of excellence in Provence, they have practiced certified organic viticulture since 2022. Their iconic bottle, designed in 1932, and their reputation for producing some of the world’s finest rosés have earned them international acclaim.

The Vineyard

The vineyard covers 90 hectares across 8 communes of the Bandol appellation. The marl and limestone soils are particularly well suited to Mourvèdre. Two main climate types characterize the terroir: valleys provide more juice and vibrancy, while high-altitude slopes and terraced hillsides confer greater body and structure to the wines.

The Vintage

The 2024 vintage benefited from a mild, rainy spring without excess, followed by a warm, dry summer with cool nights. This climatic alternation promoted progressive and uniform ripening, yielding healthy, balanced grapes. These conditions favored aromatic finesse and beautiful acidity, emphasizing elegance and aging potential.

Grape Varieties

Mourvèdre (60%), Cinsault (20%), Grenache (20%).
