Mâcon-Azé is a village appellation located in the Azé commune in the Mâconnais. The Mâcon-Azé appellation produces white wines, as well as reds and rosés. The vineyards are located on varied clay-limestone soils. The Mâcon-Azé Chardonnay white wines reveal fruity and floral aromas, with added subtle mineral notes. The reds are from either Gamay or Pinot Noir, and they reveal a great freshness.
