Description
A great red wine from California, marked by balance and richness
The estate
Pioneer, Dr. Osea Perrone acquired land in the Dry Creek Valley region in 1885 and planted vines on this clay-limestone soil. The first vintage was produced in 1892.
Purchased in 1959 and then renamed "Ridge Vineyards" in 1962, the estate expanded its vineyard and enlisted Californian winemaker Paul Draper to make the estate an icon among the greatest Californian wines.
Ridge Vineyards oversees an exceptional vineyard managed organically, recognised for the quality of its wines vinified in a non-interventionist manner and magnifying the purest expression of the fruit.
The wine
