Description
The estate
The Rocche dei Manzoni estate was created in 1974 by Valentino Migliorini and his wife. Comprising a surface area of 50 hectares, the vineyard is managed according to the precepts of biodynamic viticulture to enhance the identity and nuances of the multiple terroirs of Piedmont.
The vineyard
Rocche dei Manzoni's Vigna d'la Roul 2016 is a Barolo wine that stems from vineyards located in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba.
Winemaking and ageing
Fermentation for 20-25 days followed by malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. The initial ageing period of 36 to 48 months in oak barrels is completed by an additional 12 months of ageing following bottling.

Tasting
Colour
This wine is an intense ruby red colour.
Nose
Full and rich, the nose seduces with its complexity, notably exuding notes of violet.
Palate
The palate reveals all its power as well as a racy tannic structure.
Storage
This red wine from Piedmont can be laid down until around 2046.
Service
For the best tasting, it is recommended to decant this wine before serving it at a temperature between 16 and 18°C.
