The elegance of a great white wine from Priorat
The estate
Founded in 2001, Terroir Al Limit has established itself as an essential reference in Catalonia. Located near the village of Torroja, this estate seeks the purest expression of its environment through biodynamic viticulture. Today led by Dominik Huber, the property stands out for its artisanal winemaking and low yields. The vineyard, made up of very old vines, some of them over a century old, planted on steep terraces at altitude, gives rise to cuvées of great finesse, reflecting all the complexity of their origin.
The vineyard
The grapes for this cuvée come from the historic villages of Poboleda and La Morera, located in the Priorat. The vines, aged between 15 and 30 years, thrive at altitudes ranging from 350 to 600 metres. They are rooted in terroirs composed of schist and granite. This wine is the result of a close collaboration with small local winegrowers who share the same demanding standards of quality.
Winemaking and aging
The making of the Terroir Historic Blanc 2023 begins with a two-day maceration of whole bunches. The wine then benefits from a six-month aging carried out exclusively in stainless steel tanks.
Grape varieties
This Spanish white wine is made from a blend of 75% Grenache Blanc and 25% Macabeu.
