This is very attractive, clean and crisp, with firmness and tension on the palate. Medium-bodied with crunchy minerality and beautiful acidity. Classy and well made. 55% sauvignon blanc and 45% semillon. Drink or hold.

Flowers, lemons, grapefruit, vanilla, green apples, and orange rind scents pop in the perfume. Bright, fresh, and juicy, with a brisk, yellow citrus, and pineapple, finish, this is going to be great on release for all of its fruit, and freshness. The wine blends 70% Sauvignon Blanc, with 30% Semillon. Drink from 2025-2031. 93 Pts.

A blend of 55% Sémillon and 45% Sauvignon Gris, the 2022 Virginie de Valandraud Blanc is stunning, with ripe citrus, honeyed flowers, and a kiss of pineapple. Medium-bodied and concentrated, it has a beautifully integrated sense of minerality. Aged for nine months in a mix of used oak barrels and concrete tanks, it’s another beautiful white from this team that should evolve gracefully for 10-12 years. Total production: 500 cases.

Power and grip, a lovely sense of momentum; sage and white pear; juicy, grilled, sappy. A wonderful alternative to the main Valandraud Blanc, delivering a real sense of joy. Not aged on lees, unlike Valandraud Blanc. 2.5ha of vines, located by the main estate on north-facing slopes; harvest September 7 to 13. pH 3.25, 30% new oak barrels, with the remainder in 30% concrete vats and 40% one-year-old oak.
