A supple and indulgent Californian red wine
The property
Located in the heart of Napa Valley, the BOND estate is none other than the property of H. William Harlan, the founder of Harlan Estate. This property, founded in 1996, organises its production around 5 cuvées exploiting the plots to the fullest: Melbury, Quella, St. Eden, Vecina and Pluribus.
The vineyard
Quella 2019 from BOND is a Californian wine from the warmest terroir plot of the property. Located at an altitude of 180 meters, the vines, over 35 years old, indeed rest on volcanic rocks.
Vinification and ageing
Following manual harvesting and fermentation without indigenous yeasts, this Napa Valley wine benefits from 28 months of ageing in oak barrels.
