The estate
The family-run Champagne House Franck Bonville traces its roots back to 1900 when visionary Alfred Bonville acquired plots of land only a few years after the ravages of phylloxera on the Champagne vineyards.
The house was significantly expanded after 1945 thanks to Franck Bonville, who increased the size of the vineyard and developed the marketing of the first vintages under his name.
Gilles Bonville and his wife represented the third generation at the house, and gradually modernised the estate’s winemaking tools in 1970. After joining his parents in 1996, Olivier Bonville has devoted his attention to modern environmental practices.
