The estate

Founded in the early 1950s, the Geoffroy Champagne House has been producing high-quality cuvées for 4 generations. A meticulously managed vineyard and highly precise parcel-by-parcel vinification give rise to champagnes that exude the purest expression of the terroir and vibrant fruit.

The vineyard

Located in the heart of the Marne Valley, in Champagne, the house oversees a 14-hectare vineyard spread over a mosaic of 35 plots. In a respectful approach to its terroir and the authentic expression of each plot, the vineyard management promotes microbial life in the soils and minimises intervention as much as possible.

The wine

Volupté Premier Cru Brut is made from a selection of the finest plots in the Cumières terroir. Produced from vines averaging 35 years old and resting on very calcareous soils, this Blanc de Blanc champagne ideally expresses the nuances of two terroirs, namely the "Les Chênes" plot (south-east facing and known for its fruity berries) and "Les Tourne midi", west-facing and recognisable for its beautiful minerality.

Vinification and ageing

Hand-harvested. Exclusive selection of the Cuvée (first juice from pressing) before parcel-by-parcel vinification by batch.

Volupté Premier Cru Brut Blanc de Blancs 2016 from Geoffroy is a 100% chardonnay.
