Description
Characteristics and tasting tips for the Taittinger Brut Réserve Limited Edition FIFA World Cup 2026
Tasting
Appearance
This champagne has a brilliant, golden straw-yellow colour, enlivened by fine bubbles and an abundant, persistent mousse.
Nose
The nose opens with notes of white flowers, from warm, honeyed acacia to softer hawthorn. With aeration, it gives way to fruity touches of yellow peach, mirabelle plum and apricot, before a hint of fresh vanilla emerges on the finish.
Palate
The attack is lively and mellow, with great finesse, fluidity and balance. Flavours of brioche, honey and vanilla dominate the palate, leading to a broad, long and supple finish, warmed by a note of lightly toasted flaked almonds.
Food and wine pairings
This champagne makes a delightful aperitif, enjoyed on its own or with savoury pâtés and seafood. Its freshness and roundness also make it an excellent match for roast poultry or fish dishes in a light sauce.
Serving and cellaring
This Brut Réserve Limited Edition FIFA World Cup 2026 is best served between 8 and 10°C, a temperature that preserves the finesse of its mousse and the expression of its aromas.
Other characteristics
This champagne has a dosage of 9 g/L, placing it in the brut category, and an alcohol content of around 12.5%.

The estate
Founded in 1932 in Reims, in the Champagne region, the House of Taittinger was born when Pierre Taittinger acquired the former house of Forest-Fourneaux. Since January 2020, Vitalie Taittinger has presided over this company, which has remained family-owned for four generations. Owner of the region's second-largest estate vineyard, with 288 hectares certified HVE and VDC, the House has also distinguished itself through its longstanding partnership with FIFA, making Champagne a symbol of celebration around the world.
The vineyard
This Brut Réserve draws its fruit from more than 40 crus of the Champagne appellation, spread mainly across the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Bar. This diversity of terroirs, farmed according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, makes it possible to create a rich and complementary blend, in which each sector contributes its own aromatic signature.
The blend
This non-vintage champagne combines wines from several harvests picked at perfect ripeness, complemented by around 30% reserve wines. This proportion ensures a consistent taste profile from one year to the next, smoothing out the variations inherent in each harvest.
Vinification and ageing
This champagne is aged for a particularly long time in the cellar, spending nearly four years on its lees, more than twice the legal minimum for a non-vintage champagne. This extended period of rest allows the wine to reach full aromatic maturity and develop the finesse of its mousse.
Grape varieties
The blend is made up of 40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier, a proportion of Chardonnay recognised as unique among the great non-vintage champagnes.
