The estate
Located in the famous Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Barde-Haut is a historic 250-year-old estate. Patrice Lévêque and Hélène Garcin-Lévêque devote all their energy to this estate and ensure that its enormous potential gains a little more quality and notoriety each day.
The vineyard
Château Barde-Haut is a Saint-Emilion wine that stems from a 16.89-hectare vineyard. Perfectly situated in a natural amphitheatre facing south and overlooking the Dordogne, this vineyard rests on a clay-limestone base.
Vinification and ageing
The wine is vinified in concrete and stainless steel vats before being aged for 18 to 24 months in oak barrels.
The blend
Château Barde-Haut 2017 comprises a blend of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%).
