Beautiful, intense, deep ruby-red colour, the nose exudes concentrated black fruits -blueberry- that evolve into black currant liquor (a classic of Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste wines) and hints of light peppery spices. The palate offers a dense and clear-cut attack that lingers on ripe, powerful, elegant tannins. This Pauillac displays beautiful balance and freshness followed by a long finish with intense chocolate notes. This 2014 Grand-Puy-Lacoste carries the structure of superior vintages reflecting rich, complex soils all the while associating very ripe yet refined fruits and tannins.
