The estate
The Château La Mondotte is a wine estate dating from the 19th century. Relatively recent, this Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion is managed by Stephan Von Neipperg. Belonging to a German family immersed in the world of viticulture for nearly eight centuries, Stephan von Neipperg runs the Château La Mondotte with passion and talent.

Château La Mondotte has a 4.5-hectare vineyard east of Saint-Émilion. The old vines, averaging 60 years old, are planted on a mosaic of terroirs with silty clay soils over a rocky subsoil. The vineyard is managed under certified organic farming.
Winemaking and aging
Aging is carried out in barrels (70 % of which are new) on fine lees for an average of 18 months.
Blend
Merlot (80 %) and Cabernet Franc (20 %).
