La Mondotte unveils a delicate and fruity red wine from Saint-Émilion
Château La Mondotte is a wine estate dating from the 19th century. Since recently, this Premier Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion has been managed by Stephen Von Neipperg. From a German family immersed in the world of viticulture for almost 8 centuries, Stephen von Neipperg manages La Mondotte with great personal passion and talent.
Château La Mondotte has a small 4.5-hectare vineyard east of Saint-Émilion. The 60-year-old vines are planted in a mosaic of terroirs, with silty clay soils on a rocky subsoil. The vineyard is certified in Organic Farming.
